@@s_s._.2234 I'm not a professional singer, but I try to sing and use vibrato in most of my songs. I learned vibrato from my favorite singer KK, along with Alka Yagnik and Kumar Sanu. The problem with many new singers today is that they don't focus on vibrato. Even when they do use it, it doesn't have the same impact as legends like KK, Kumar Sanu, or Shaan. Instead, they often rely on vocal fry or imitate modern Western styles, which sometimes feels unnecessary or even cringy.

Alka is a vocal queen. Many of the Bollywood songs i like she was the female voice. She sings very loud though. But yeah, amazing discography she has. I will say after 2000 her voice does sounds much more clear because of better mixing, but yeah still a queen.

Alka is just irreplaceable and listening to these songs with you both again brought back so many amazing childhood memories! So thank you! I also remembered many songs of Alka I had forgotten thanks to you both watching it and have added them to my playlist now! It’s wonderful to see non-Indian singers at your level appreciating Alka’s talent. I will say whoever makes these compilations did an amazing job but they should play each song for at least 15-20 seconds for you to get the full feel of each song.
