@@SimplyUnprofessional The issue is that game doesn't work in DirectX but it works in OpenGL. But it is bloody unplayable, because of the damn freezes and lags. Changing any graphic settings doesn't help to minimize them...

Strange, for me 1.50 is running a lot better than 1.49 and previous versions. I have never been able to run my map combo profile like it does on 1.50, without any major stuttering. Have you tried these launch options? -mm_max_resource_size 40 -mm_max_tmp_buffers_size 1000 These seem to improve the draw distance for vegetation and other textures. And for the config.cfg file: uset r_buffer_page_size "30" uset t_averaging_window_duration "120" uset t_averaging_window_length "120"

I have no doubts, all this work is spectacular. However I don't understand the efforts creating small places like Jersey; Guernsey, or Nuuk. In a scale 1:19 thoose are no larger than a small village. I think all this efforts may concentrate in mainlands areas like Turkey, Africa, Ukraine, or in the future, when Putin be away in Russia

Can be used with an old or new profile I am using my old profile no issues

Create a new profile, and then activate Promods in the mod manager. You can have one default profile and one Promods no issues

they do now, its hidden but if you drive all the way to Wick in Scotland, go around the top as your going towards Thurso, theres a road that branches off and plays scottish music.

What exactly is a merge? Like Switzerland merge for example

It is integration of another map, in this case SCS map of Switzerland, to the mod map of Promods. Without merge, Promods Switzerland covers the new one from SCS. It takes a lot of time to integrate DLC map into the mod map, because of road connections, border tolls etc.

BTW exactly that didn't happen for the Germany rework of SCS yet and IIRC the SCS changes are basically being "overwritten" with the old ProMods rework. They will have it merged with the upcoming 2.71 release.

with Promods it is just a mod its one of the best mods for ETS2 number 1 spot but i wont wait for it anymore like used to. SCS map is big enough for me to play the game and put in the miles in fact i have FPS drops while using promods and never runs as smooth i dont go the quarry i dont use the cd road so for me if its there a will play on it. for me its just not that important like it was 2years ago
