I know many people have said this already, but the controversy with the Russia DLC is quite BS for me, like how in the world is releasing a map expansion for a literal trucking simulator going to affect the war situation or real life politics. If they refused to release it because of the war, then why did they add Kosovo which is another controversal part of the map, but i guess they ignored that. But all i hope is that SCS will at some point release the DLC.

I think there is a mistake with the scandinavia DLC. It contains denmark and not Finnland. 2:05

Finland isnt considered as scandinavia,since mountainrange of scandes are not in finland,where the name scandinavia comes from.

How do some of them have the con “expensive” and pro “affordable” when they are all the same price of $17.99 except for Going East! Which is $9.99!? For example, the one of the pros you had for Vive La France! is "affordable" and the price of the Vive La France! DLC is $17.99. One of the cons for the DLCs Iberia and West Balkans is "Expensive" When they are both $17.99, the same price as Vive La France! 🤔

I'm from Spain and the Iberia DLC was disappointing for me. All highways and very boring to play when it is a diverse country full of emblematic points, such as the Pyrenees or Picos de Europa and tons of kilometers of famous secondary roads, Ruta de la Plata and so on. It looks like SCS software didn't make any research work at all

Agry that Iberia is boring, to spend hours driving across fcking desert near Valencia. When I bought this dlc I thought it would be kinda paradise on earth, but I discovered desert😅. Hope in real life Spain looks a far better

I think that if the Nordic Horizons DLC doesn't go up far enough into the really snowy and beautiful regions of Norway, sweden and finland. It would be awesome to see a DLC with iceland and the northern points of the scandanavian countries because i love SNOW

Well, honestly, its war of Russia against Ukraine, there is a clear agresor and we have to name it. And for that reason, I cannot imagine playing the Russian part and admiring the beauty of the landscape and cities, considering the fact, its attacking its neighbour and ruining its cities (and stealing the land). I understand, the russian community is large as well, perhaps, some of them are even against the war, just they cannot express their opinion for obvious reason (try to shout "No to war! on Red Square). But ETS2 is kinda realistic simulator and it needs to reflect the reality - which is - Russia under sanctions and not really a heavy cargo trade between Russia and the civilized Europe.

The only countries missing are Ukraine, Belarus, Moldau, Georgia, (Northern) Ireland, Belarus, Iceland and the islands: Faroe, Malta, Isle of Man, Cyprus and Äland

I would add Moldavia (except Transnistria), whole Ireland island, Belarus (technically not at war but SCS still keep small parts of Russia...), maybe Cyprus along with Greece DLC (if theres Corsica and Sardinia... in their respective DLCs why not CY), the other islands are too small and Ukraine has an ongoing russian invasion (better keep out at the moment). The best big expansion would be the rest of Turquiye and keep out Georgia and Armenia is not a good idea but a reduced version similar to baltic states is better than nothing. About Iceland... i don't see it but again, with Corsica and Sardinia.... BUT more important is to update older base maps like NL, GB, BE, etc.. before adding new maps

@@GodSpeed24z The older countries and especially the Going East countries should be updated. I don't see any benefit in the rest of Turkey and Armenia as they are already in Asia. With Georgia, perhaps the interface, like scs did with Russia.

@@leonurbaniec8527 "no benefit"? common, its a game/simulator, not a continental border symposium, Russia has an unreleased dedicated DLC and a big part, like Turquiye relies in Asia. By the same logic it can be added Kazakstan too; a lot of countries are particularly small and are included in ETS2, Armenia and Georgia packed with rest of Turquiye can be done perfectly without entering on geopolitical limitations. And I forgot Azerbayan, 3 relatively small countries that can mimic at some point the baltic states

@@GodSpeed24z I worded it wrong. The countries would be an benefit, but it's not called EURO Truck Simulator for nothing. It's not for nothing that Turkey is only in the game as far as Istanbul. In the DLC where Russia is added, it will only reach as far as the Urals
