Hiyas Edward, Thank you for sending me a sample!! I am excited to try it. I do love salted black licorice and Fusiliers Ration also has aniseed in it, delicious. Aniseed isn't quite as strong as licorice but I do like it if it's not to heavily applied! The great thing about GH is that the leaf they use is of such top notch quality. Hello Edward, I have not tried this one. I see Gary mentioned Fusiliers Ration having some aniseed in it. I have some in my cellar from 2016 but haven't cracked it open. Now I'm curious. Have a Merry Christmas to you and your Misses🎄✌️

I'm pleased to hear the tobacco with the aniseed topping didn't live up to your expectations, to your astonishment you actually enjoyed it 😂. The toppings on the twists are fairly mild, each of the toppings provide a very slight variation in the leaf flavour profile that is the same blend in them all, more of a subtle nuance than a full-on aromatic blast. I've never actually tried this one, it must be good even with the aniseed topping which I don't really care for too. 😄After the first 3rd of the bowl, all their "flavoured twists" taste just like normal brown twist anyway. Regards
