As soon as you said you’ve been smoking all week I knew you were enjoying it! It’s a favourite of mine and have one always in the cellar. Currently smoking some Ennerdale. You mentioned Irish flake I’m yet to pop the tin on the one I have, never tried it yet. Have a great week fella.

Hi Edward I tried that blend early in my pipe smoking journey and boy did it put me on my arse I enjoyed the 1st bowl so tried having a 2nd but the nic hit is high and definitely it recommended on an empty stomach I was spewing my guts up on that 2nd bowl so I've never been anywhere near it since. I've not had it many a year only because Samuel Gawith and Gawith Hoggarth have plenty of plugs available on tap that I prefer. I recall it being a pleasant smoke though. I've got a tin squirrelled away that must be 7 or 8 years old by now, I'll open it on 10 y✌️
