I said that's your addiction, not mine. The first time we cruised, she went out to smoke AFTER security and at gate and left her ID after I toooooooooold her she needed to carry it all time. Only the bags are allowed since that's what the law on travelling by plane states. If the test comes back positive for cocaine, then it's either packed inside their body to be smuggled, or they just used it. Using drugs in another country is not punishable in another country, it's called jurisdiction. Now if they admit to using drugs, then that would be the probable cause of the test coming back positive. Which ultimately means that there's no reason to do an x-ray, unless it's an obvious lie that you ACTUALLY used the drug, and not ingested it in a packet.

I was able to keep the alcohol at now charge and only minimal charge for the tobacco. They were super cool with me because I was 100% honest with them. Honesty goes a long way

Maybe my math is off, but I smoke 5 a day on average and go through 5x25g a month, if they smoke like 50 a day each that would be 2x10x5x25g=2500g. So 2.5kg a month, 57kg gone in just under 2 years. Feasible. Still, not convinced those two were smokers lol.

at sitting in a cell, assuming 1800 kcal a day burned, that's only 200g body fat a day. That's only 8.2 kg. However the guy did ask for coke, and if he got 2 litres of coke, that's be 800 kcal a day. So only 1000kcal negative per day, or 108 g of bodyfat. Which comes out at 4.5 kg of bodyfat. The 1800 kcal are on the upper bounds of someone sitting in a cell all day, and 1200-1500 kcal is probably more likely. At that point he'd only lose about 2 kg of body fat. That's not something that would be visible. Losing weight takes ages, it's much easier to gain weight than to lose it. For a sedentary life style, without eating any calories, you'll only lose about 70kg/150 pounds a YEAR. You obviously still need fluids, minerals and vitamins.

A hand rolled cigarette would be about .8 of a gram and with a plastic roller machine each smoke could weigh a gram or more depending on tightness. A hundred pounds would yield at least 45,400 cigarettes. At a pack a day that's 6.2 years. At 3 packs a day as he claims that's just over 2 years. Pretty dry crap by then.
