I'm from Trinidad & I don't think it's weird at all.......technically speaking, most Trinis are tourists to Tobago. It may be 2 islands under the same flag but even though we share some similarities, we are also VERY different.

One of the best videos that I have seen showing the eco side of Tobago. I have been to Castura Beach to bath. My friend and I drove through the rain forest and I was mesmerized by its beauty. I always tell people not to forget to drive through there. It was like if God landscaped it with his hands and blessed it with all his love. The snake and lizard story is not for me. I will stay nearer to the city. There are lizards everywhere in the tropics, but I hate them. If I saw that snake that would have been the end of the villa for me. That is the price you have to pay if you are a nature lover. Trinidad and Tobago has many species of snakes living among its remote and forested areas, but not in the cities and towns. I plan to spend winters in Tobago when it becomes possible, but surely not in that beautiful tree house.

Hi! No right after the pandemic Trinidad wasn’t yet very suited for tourism. We hope to go back one day. Tobago is quite different from Trinidad, very laidback, little crime.. the best places on the island are very far from the towns and stores. It isn’t too big, but it is very isolated.

Pleased if the locals got sick of making their paradise a disgusting cess pool of litter and worse? I had to leave after three days after trying to tidy the beach where I stayed but gave up as a lost cause. How people could be that way was appalling. I do hope it has changed it, looks like it?

Hi Ron! We didn’t stay in the ‘cruise’ area where most of the tourists go. The only place where we encountered some tourism was in the south at Pigeon Point. I must say the beach was tidy and no litter at all. In Castara it’s mainly local life and also no litter or what so ever. 👍🏻

I think I answered i a different video as well. Sony A7iii with a GoPro and DJI Air 2. We like to keep it small, but the quality of the cameras combined is great 😁👍🏻

ive been there ever since i was a kid and never returned..i remember tehre were some little hotels and there was beutiful food a beach (i think) and a pool. iremember it had the cool paddle boat thingy. i rly wanted to ride em. my mum said tommorow. (but the next they they werent there anymore.. maybe its gonna coem back the enxt day! (but they never came back. maybe it was in teh small wooden locked up shed next to it! but no...the boats woudl be way too big...

Hi StrongnBeautiful, I actually don’t really know about other hotels since we just stayed at the tree houses. I do find that Castara is the best place on Tobago and it’s quite far from Scarborough, the main town. Are you renting a car? Cheers back from the family 😁👍🏻

Hi Dolores! I’m nog really scared off by crime easily. We travel the entire world and we’ll go to Trinidad for sure some time. It’s just a fact that Tobago has incredibly low crime rates compared any place. India, Brazil, Africa.. we’ve experienced super nice places and of course had some incidents as well. 😁👍🏻

🇧🇸 Bahamas 🇬🇩 Grenada 🇧🇧 Barbados are all way better places.. all Caribbean islands are beautiful. But the physical beauty is diminish when the nationals are the most unfriendly and uncivil people. To many miserable people in TT.😏

Sadly, those seem to be the facts. Crime is incredibly low in Tobago compared to Trinidad. Tobago is one of the safest places in the Caribbean according to statistics 😉

Keep in mind tens of thousands of people visit Trinidad every year, especially for its world-famous Carnival, and have a SAFE and WONDERFUL time without any incidents. There is also a burgeoning cruise industry in Trinidad. It is very disheartening when certain Trinis, usually for political reasons, just make generalizations like, "DON'T COME BECAUSE IT IS DANGEROUS!" Millions of people visit Chicago and Detroit every year, which have high crime and are considered dangerous. They simply do not go to dangerous neighborhoods. They visit all the attactions, enjoy the food and culture and leave satisfied. There is a LOT of food, culture and natural attractions to enjoy in T&T.
