No bat shit here 😄 Enjoy your humor and videos that goes beyond bacon/egg/steak. Like inspiration for meals that needs long simmering like stews, Chilis and Curries since I enjoy the whole mealprep over fire. You got a new subscriber. Greetings from Denmark to Sweden

You're absolutely crushing it my friend! I am definitely going to try that lime trick next time I do chilli. Not as windy as I remember it but as always great stuff, looking forward to more!

Thanks Steve! You're right that it's was a lot less wind and a lot warmer than on your visit. Summer is basically here at last :) Take care and I'll see you around!

I make my camp chili almost identical to yours, only difference is I use tomato ketchup instead of BBQ. I even use beer and lime, so I'd say yours was perfect!!

I see an additional channel in your future: "Redswede Gourmet" The citrus at the end is genius.
@RedswedeOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
Thank you Peter, that's heart warming, but I think that making content for two channels would be overwhelming. As for the citrus, I realised on a vacation in Tuscany that it's an underrated flavor. I rarely used it prior but the italians opened up my eyes. See you around.

Great recipe - well done! 👍 ... and every coffee sequence is welcome. ☕🙂 How did you maintain the ember/coal-bed so long? I struggle often with to much flames or coals that get to cold to early.
@RedswedeOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Carsten. I used briquettes, they have a fairly long "burn" time with an even temperature. The tinder and sticks was just for getting the briquettes going. One might consider that cheating but it's practical. Two heaping handfulls and you're set for 1-2 hours. Cheers!

looks delicious. I wanna figure out a way to cook some cornbread on a alcohol burner
@RedswedeOutdoors7 ай бұрын
I would say just the same way but with the simmer ring pretty tight. The problem is rather that the fry pans to the cook sets are to thin so you get a hot spot in the center over the flame and to little heat spread to the rest of the pan. I got a comment about heat spreaders you can put between the flame and pan, seems pretty ordinary in the US, never seen one in Sweden. The alternative is a cast iron skillet with a better heat distrubution. Cheers Jim!
