Excellent points here dude. The best tip by far is analysis of Nintendo Mario games or your favorite levels. Playing them gives me a sense of peace that no other games have ever accomplished. The formula is wild when you break down Nintendo’s difficultly curve, creative mechanics, power ups, secrets, rewards, and beauty of the backgrounds and decorations. Mario is Love. Mario is Life

Thank you Tobias, Thanks to you now I have an idea, a SMB3 airship level called Lethal Leaves with a slow autoscroll and then a subarea with a fast scrolling where you have to avoid the falling leaves in order to proceed

I had an amazing idea (on the toilet lol) but basically, I had an idea where you enter the level and go through a “role play” of going to “yoshis restaurant” and after you’ve finished going through the restaurant you get to rate the restaurant by throwing a certain amount of shells in a hole (and the amount of shells determine what the level does next, for example if you rate it 1 star (1 shell) then it would block the other 4 paths (2-5 star ratings) making mario enter a certain part of the level.

About 3 years ago, I was in the part of the USA many people refer to as Tornado Ally. I was ensured to make a level based on twisters and par core from a tornado warning in the area at the time.
