Was just gonna say the same thing. As long as we have the godfather, we are in the best hands possible. Riley now knows that we will have to beat either the Celtics or Bucks along with the NBA refs. Before the NBA took the 3 pointer away from Strus, I had a feeling that the NBA used the refs to effect certain games' outcomes. It was just a feeling until that point. Now there is no denying that the NBA made sure that the Celtics would be in the finals. If I had bet on the Heat in game 7, I would have probably sued the NBA. I doubt it's possible to win the lawsuit, but at least it would draw attention to the fact it is happening.

Phil Jackson is the luckiest coach in NBA history and his timing was perfect. Pat Riley is a true legend! He is known for his incredibly high endurance work ethics and pushing his players to the limit. He is also a good executive, by making smart trade decisions and planning ahead. Phil Jackson won championships simply because he was coaching the right team at the right time. He was coaching Chicago Bulls with the great Michael Jordan in his prime. Right after that era, Phil jumped in and coached the Lakers with a young Kobe/Shaq combo without even going through a rebuild. Any lousy coach can win 11 rings under Phil's tenure, obviously. Pat Riley won all his championships through incredibly hard work and discipline. Pat is a much better/smarter coach and he earned it. Phil got lucky.

i met Pat Riley in the year he was going to sign Lebron i scanned his ticket to fly to Cleveland to meet Lebron. Had to hand search because of metal knee. Talk to him and he confirmed that Lebron was coming to Miami. In his words he said" You know what they call that? It's a triple play." I will have faith in Miami Heat forever great organization.
