I love how NBA players are taking the intiative to take ownership of how they are portrayed in media by utilizing resources like KZbin and social media. If ESPN or FOX Sports did this interview it would have been filled with so many set up questions to get a headline. This was a great video.

Not really. There´s only one person at ESPN who´d be able to get a sit down like this with MJ and that´s Mike Wilbon and the tone would have been about the same with a few more throw back stories.

Didn't imagine that the two players who literally changed the game of basketball will sit together and have this wholesome conversation. The greatest shooter to ever touch a basketball and the greatest basketball player sitting together... This is legendary. Two of the most impactful players of all time sitting down having a conversation. Such a sight to see. I love how since Kobe passed Mike has made it his duty to be more open giving the ppl what they want. Haven’t seen him smile this often in years

I felt like I was Steph Curry, interviewing Michael Jordan. It’s great just seeing MJ’s personal side. For so many years he was like a God, sitting high, so high, above us in terms of basketball talent and in celebrity. But here he is just talking to Steph Curry like he’d be talking to anyone. Love interviews like this.

People forget that in addition to being the GOAT, Michael Jordan is the wealthiest athlete of all time, and in large part (thanks mostly to his mother, initially), paved the way for all athletes to make SERIOUS money doing what they do. From those those two standpoints, it's a massive honor to talk to him.

Truth. He is a cultural icon beyond America as well plus his impact here in Europe is exceptional to this day. I can't imagine that someone will ever top that

Just his mother? fark off, he loves and respects his mother, so do I, she is a great woman. but without his FATHER we never would have heard of MJ. EVERYONE knows his need to prove himself to his father and competing with his brother Larry is what made him a competitive freak. and he like most with no father would be a whiney b*tch with no work ethic growing up without a father and WOULD NOT be able to conduct himself so professionally and control his ego as he does. its the BASKETBALL skills that got him even in the position to get that Nike deal in first place. We live in a society where we prop up women and pretend fathers don't matter, this sh has to stop. ever occur to you its probably why the movie makes out it was ALL about his mother? (I've only seen previews). BOTH his parents were intelligent hard working people.
