@@christinegreen3974 thats the sad part of record labels. if an artist isn't spitting out new hits every other month to stay revelant, they will get passed on for some new artist the label wants to cram down our throats. most of them are barely ever one-hit-wonders...if they're lucky! im old enough to remember artists had to earn their air-time. they weren't given producers to hook them up with the same hashed out beats or sounds that every other damn song has...because the same producer worked on all those too! independent artists are becoming hot again, if you can find one that tickles your fancy

@@alberthart4146 I think with Toby Keith it's more an issue of being pushed out by the "bro" country. He's more honky tonk grit. He could put out new songs every week but radio's not going to play them. There's very few of his era (my era) being played - Brad Paisely, Kenny Chesney, etc.

The bar I think of when I hear this song, was called “The Silver Saddle”. It had a cool ass dance floor and was a sailor boy hangout. When the AF Boys showed up about two hrs bfr closing…oh crap let the games begin. 😢miss those days I loved that bar.

Key West has this kind of place. Used to be there were 2 bars open all night. One was the bar at. the airport, the other was a biker bar. After everything else closed at 4 am, everyone would go to one or the other. Never any friction just hanging out together.
