Coming back to this again. Why Sanrio never seemed to release the soundtrack for both Unico movies makes me sad. I would love nothing more than a HD MP3 of just the flute with the percussion. Seriously.

Okay kids in Japanese this movie is called "Mahou no Shima e" which leads me to the page that tells me this lady - Shiratori, Emiko or Emiko Shiratori ... composed the theme music including the opening and closing theme for it. So if anyone can find the goods, hook it up here please!
