Hi Anne, I saw you on Fibrechats and thought I’d come on over! How sweet you are, I love your channel. So now I have a new friend to sit and knit with! Yes all the feels, just the same as you. Stephen is such a wonderful person and designer, so yes, I want to knit his design too. I live in Australia, so not sure if I’ll make Irina and Martyn’s zooms, even the Aussie ones as I’m out at that time this week. What a lovely video to start my morning to! I had the same journey in the MKAL this year, restarted for the third time on Monday with Stephen's version 3, and I'm trying to "Embrace my Pace". I feel it's the right thing to do, and your video was so refreshing and kind. Also, Happy belated Thanksgiving from the States!

This was great. I think your original clue one triangle would be beautiful as the start to a triangular shawl- add that last dark blue stripe and continue on from there with an even darker blue or a surprise color- greens maybe or yellows? I chose a different alternate clue one that I’m happy with and Stephen approved, but you’re right, it’s not 100% Westknits anymore and I didn’t learn the new cast on. . . Something to think on, for sure

Hi Anne, belated happy Thanksgiving. We had a family day too on Sunday, thankfully much less noisy than yours 🤪 and enjoyed the leftovers on Monday. It’s lovely to have the house sorted and back to normal. I don’t follow Stephen West so missed all the hoopla. Hope the new thing works out - it certainly looks very strange.
