For more info about the schools, i usually send my clients this website: www.greatschools.org/georgia/. And there are so many churches in the area. You would have a lot of options.

Hi Kristin! I’m a native Toccoan who still lives here. So I thought I’d jump in and try to help. Our public schols are VERY good. We have a large Homeschooling community. Then there is nearby Rabun Gap and Tallulah Falls private schools. First Baptist Church has more children’s activities than any other. We’d love to have you in beautiful Toccoa!

What is the rental market like for singles, both young and old? College students and retired people don't usually live in houses.

There are single family, townhome, apartment and manufactured home options in Toccoa. ❤️

Unfortunately, we are in the midst of a big housing shortage here. There are very few rentals. (I’m a landlord.)

The first time I heard of Toccoa and knew about it was from the documentary 'Southern Comfort,' about a transgender male, Robert Eads, that lived there and died of ovarian cancer. He appeared to live far out in the country, though.
