Oh Maddie! I relate so much to your stomach problem. I have severe GERD for many years. Because I have a really good diet, I have this under control for a long time with minimal medication. This year, my doctor wanted me to try to stop it and gosh! I had a gastritis and an esophagitis for several months and I am now recovering from it with a super bland and limited diet for 5 months and it's an agony for me too 😢 I am an holistic nutritionist and all my life turn around food. I love to cook so much and to eat! Thank you for sharing, really, it makes me feel better ❤

IBS is connected to your brain.... little to do with food, it's about feeling stressed. I know because I have had it too. It's your gut brain connection. A little like when you get butterflies in your tummy when you're nervous. Stress can bring about bowel issues. I've read and researched loads following being hospitalised with it. Sometimes an antidepressant is useful..... hope you able to rest and your tummy feels better soon. 💕✨

I was told by my dermatologist that I get bad skin and spots if my meal is more on the very oily side, and I am not against oil but you had that mayo with oil in it, then the chips with oil, then fried the burger Pattie and the bacon in oil, and that is quite a lot in one sitting

Maddie, I have similar gut issues and I think its the pea protein in some of the vegan burger options that are the issue. Read the label and see if thats the culprit. In Canada, there's a brand Blue Mountain who have all veg burgers that are delish and non problematic..❤

I have had a severe reaction to a Beyond burger once and hartburn for Beyond products in particular but they also had issues with hygiene so it might not only be the ingredients... Other products are OK but I do not like the mouth feel of burger since the bad beyond burger. I try to go for one ingredient products and that workes so much better for me.

Ive had IBS all my life ( since childhood). I am a failed vegan because of that. I cannot eat the quantities of beans, lentils, whole grains, leafy greens etc etc required to maintain a healthy diet. I am now a pescatarian. I have to be really careful to balance my food so i don't feel like i am digesting gravel. X

I've only had beyond burger once and it did taste good but there was a lot of oil/grease came out of it in my airfryer it set smoke detector off and kitchen was thick smoke. If I eat over greasy things my IBS flares up and I don't suffer on a daily basis anymore. Something to consider.
