I turned my kids on to this joint a few years back! They always say "you guys had the jams"! My son rolled in one day from college last year and this was blasting from the car. We started clowning in the driveway...lol 😆

Man...this right here is ANOTHER 80's banger. If you weren't there, it's kinda hard to explain the vibe, the feeling, the energy, love, life, the people and the food. Yeah some things didn't make it to this decade. But for us that enjoyed those times, you are truly blessed.

I think we just have to cherish the memories and be thankful we were able to be a part of it . 80’s and 90’s have to be top five for music era

People ask why they don't make music like this any more - but the answer is quite simple, and it's all down to fact that people are no longer happy. We live a sterile, artificial world where hatred of our fellow man is acceptable. Ask yourself this; when was the last time you heard a truly happy or uplifting song apart from Pharrell's 'Happy'?

OMG! I remember seeing Today and Guy at the Beacon Theater and I still remember how they tore this song up. I still do the dance moves when I hear it. This does sound like Show Me where You're Coming From by Carrie Lucas.

That’s where it comes from. Go look up Remote Control by The Reddings. Listen to the hook. It’s where My Prerogative comes from. Then listen Bell and James Livin It Up on Friday night. It’s where Just Got Paid

My sister went over to Canada and came back with this in about 1987/8 I think. Took me unitl the late 90's to prise it away by which time she ahd emigrated to the USA anyway. Remember the 1st time I played this at a party in London. How many people rushed the decks to try and grab it I dont know! Did people really go out and dance ALL night?!? Hell yeah.......

Hiphoplegend. Croon3. You peeped it my brother. That Carrie Lucas influence[show me where you're coming from]. Actually Teddy Riley started working with Leon Sylvers when leon moved to Virginia and that's where the connection came from for the song and also the song Before I let you go by Blackstreet was done by leon Sylvers. Peace Croon3.
