I have one of these. I received it in 1959. The stock was cracked just behind the hand grip which I repaired. I recently found a new, unfinished, stock for it for about $40. It has never mis-fired and always been accurate. Mine has the original peep rear sight and multiple flip up front sights. I'll wait to see your finished (refinished) project.

My uncle had one of these when I was younger, it was a decent rifle. Cool find , excited to see your finished project. Sucks how KZbin is nowadays
