I make dua to Allah that Sheikh Abdullah's mother and all of his loved ones accept Islam and may he have the contentment in his heart in knowing he can see them again in the akhirah. As a Latina revert myself I can't express how much I needed this and how it touched my heart. The talk about sacrifice and Allah being enough for us. My fear to revert was consuming but Allah is greater than all of that Alhumdullilah. The personal connection I felt especially when he mentioned about his mom was astounding as that is my dream for my mother. These last ten nights I have been putting my all in my duas in asking Allah SWT to guide my mother to Islam. Please whoever comes across this I ask that you make a ten second dua for my mother. The Surah Allah mentions Ibrahim (AS) seeing in a dream that he is to sacrifice Ismail (AS) is A- Surah As-Saffat. Verse 102 of the Surah- Then when the boy reached the age to work with him, Abraham said, “O my dear son! I have seen in a dream that I ˹must˺ sacrifice you. So tell me what you think.” He replied, “O my dear father! Do as you are commanded. Allah willing, you will find me steadfast.”
