There was one girl in my high school who was so scared of snaked some friends sent her a picture from the exhibit of a rattlesnake and she threw her phone on the ground. I also told her of how my neighbor's cornsake (named Sean) went down my shirt and she freaked out. Its such a strange reaction and I used to be afraid of snakes until I held a cornsnake. The handlers here do such a great job of presenting the snakes at a good pace to her.

Best they just stay in the wild, and no, I don't think its a fear that can go away we're programmed to be afraid of them for a reason.
