I remember getting nightmares from this show! I think it was the creepy-ish night setting & the magic mannequin. And I can’t believe I didn’t realise this show was Canadian. It’s amazing just how many early Nick shows were!

I know You Can't Do That on Television is Canadian. The others felt like obscure, low-budget American shows or shows from places like Europe or Japan (in fact, that was basically early Nickelodeon in a nutshell).

From what I remember I’d the hat fell off of his head he would turn into a mannequin until Muffy said the magic words. Also if he left the store he would lose that magic and become a mannequin permanently.

@@AllyBee-vi5gv Maybe I was thinking of a scene where he was worried if he went into a box, that box was outgoing shipping, and so he'd be turned permanently.. or maybe I was a tiny child and I made up my own plot. it happened. When Thundercats aired on Toonami in 2000 or so, I was like "That show 'Tigercats' that I remember as a kid.. that wasn't a fever dream?"

Canada had its own Sesame Street show I still remember the Canadian characters like Basil name Louie and I loved learning French as well.
