Classically, Green Arrow Sidekicks the most troubled in the DC Universe, by the time Jason Todd died the first time, Speedy 1(Roy) had been shunned by Ollie for his drug habit for several years(real world/our time) and occasionally doing cartel-related missions with the suicide squad. This is sort of a natural extension of Green Arrow books being more tied to social issues of the day.

jason tends to get skipped over in cartoons, for the longest time I thought the bat family went from dick to barbra to tim didn't even know about jason till the red hood movie. then almost immediately they started introducing damian into the mix

There was a lot of disgruntlement in society over the results of that infamous vote involving Jason Todd. I think some even said it showcased how bad comics are for children, because of how those same people were voting for that result.

If I remember correctly, there is only one mention of Jason in the season 2 (we see his name on a grave, for 0.5 seconds)... so yeah, skipping ! :)

*Huge,* important thing: "Whelmed" means the same as "Overwhelmed", just to a lesser degree. What happened was someone wanted to add *emphasis* to "whelm" and coined the term "overwhelm" to stress that point.

The problem with a franchise that's 80+ years old is ALLLLLLLLLL that history. Also, just like how Dick Grayson/Robin ended up as Nightwing Roy Harper/Speedy ended up becoming Red Arrow. Batman only tells Robin what Batman thinks Robin needs to know when Batman thinks Robin needs to know it. Why he left and become Nightwing... well... that and other reasons.

The first two seasons of YJ are great if not perfect - the characters have complex backstories and motivations, the easter eggs and references are on point and not "in your face", the main plot is intriguing. I'd say these two seasons are the best representation of DC Universe as a whole. Season 3, on the other hand, is... uneven, to say the least, some plot points don't make much sense and gore is unnecessary at times. But over all - Young Justice is a great pick for a reaction, can't wait to see your discussions after some of the episodes :)

Maybe it will, but my guess would be end of November at the soonest, so it comes out around the same time as the original season, or more likely wait until January like they did with Outsiders

S3 is a dip in quality but it still has good moments and good fights. the animation for S3 also isn’t as good the 1st 2 seasons bc they were on a tight budget. But S4 has a bigger budget and the animation will be stellar they said. S4 is supposedly coming October 21st
