To those who don't know, ⁠Lea Salonga from the Philippines has already established herself as a living legend - being the original voice of Disney Princesses Jasmin and Mulan! She's a Laurence Olivier Awardee and Tony Award Winner for her lead role in Miss Saigon (which is also an iconic broadway show). She played notable roles in broadway like Eponine and Fantine in Les Miserables. She was conferred with the Presidential Medal of Merit in 1990 and the Order of Lakandula in 2007, and was honored as a Disney Legend in 2011. Her name is forever etched in Disney's history, and especially in the broadway/theater industry. Even Anne Hathaway, who also played Fantine in Les Miserables the movie, likewise admitted that she looks up and respects Lea Salonga so much.
