Car rental agencies to buy a vehicle? No, Heck NO!!! Vehicle History report? Not everything is reported. Especially when the owner tries to be sneaky and repairs said vehicle on their dime(at a cheaper garage/cheaper parts). Best advice? Do your due diligence!!! Get a professional to go over the vehicle(if you aren't well versed), you are trying to purchase to look at paint, panel/metal gaps, uneven tread depth(sketchy if the vehicle in question has new tires), suspension, rust, etc.. Even/especially dealerships, will try to hide these things. Why? Because at the end of the day, they are just a business, looking to profit.

People complain, and yet they still buy. Its not like the best selling car has become the Corolla, civic, or hrv if people wanted affordable cars. Also 20k cars are literally gone. 25k-28k is basically the new “affordable”. Also if people bought affordable cars, trucks wouldn’t be the best-selling cars in the U.S., period, because of how expensive they’ve become and how most people buying have no reason to own one. It’s not being out of touch, its following the data. And the data shows people pay up even if they complain. As is the case with anything now.
