I grew up loving the Fonz and his children’s books were some of the first books my dyslexic son actually liked to read. I am forever grateful you put out the Hank Zipzer books.

The Henry Winkler you saw in this brief segment is exactly who you would expect to meet in person, by all other formal and informal videos I've seen of him. There was one posted here on YT where he was a celebrity guest at the recent Orlando Megacon convention and he was literally introducing himself to fans coming to see him, with impeccable manners and graciousness - as if no one knew who he is. Genuinely humble man.

I love Henry. Growing up in the early 60's Drs. Told my folks i was dislexic. My parents and teachers found it easer to say i was dang stupid. Pounded that into my head every day. They are all dead now. And i ain't stupid.

I love Henry Winkler. Growing up my mother always proclaimed that she had no interest in the "unintellectual" TV shows her six children watched, but the Fonz? She thought he was a heart throb.

My favorite role of Henry's after The Fonz is Chuck Lumley in Night Shift! "Are you gonna change your mind?" "No!" "Are YOU GONNA CHANGE YOUR MIND???" "Chuck, you gotta keep that elbow stiff." (lunges with tennis racquet)

The first time I saw Henry Winkler after Happy Days was when he played a murderer on Law and Order. He was truly great - nuanced, thoughtful, interesting. I was amazed.

how did he get into Yale if he couldn't read

Still, don’t understand if somebody with dyslexia can memorize dialogue and get into Yale. It doesn’t make any sense.
