I loved the man I was with, which made me think that's enough, But I just started to watch the show, and of course I get its TV, but it also makes me aspire to have an amazing love and relationship like the ones we see on the show. So heartbreaking when his character died. At least they didn't let him die in agony. But the most poignant plot point is young Kate's involvement in his decision to return to the burning house. Kate is the most interesting, and most tragic, character in This Is Us.
