Went to school with him and believe me when i say that when he sang we all were blown away. He always had that special something. And everyone he encountered he treated genuinely.

Absolutely! Waited 3 hours for a signing in Nashville. He talked to me and my girlfriend at the time for like 5 minutes. While taking pictures and signing for us. I told him we could get signings and let him move on and he said no rush and kept talking.

High tenor country singers are always popular. I think because they are more rare and if they are also really good AND making pop songs, they'll make mucho money. AND I forgot to add, if they throw in "soul" tones and licks. That's money in the bank. Vince Gill... tenor, great singer, but no "soul". Ricky Skaggs... tenor, great singer for bluegrass but... no "soul" = no uh... AA audience. This Stapelton guy is getting a wider appeal because of the soulful tone and style. Mega $ in the US.
