Groundbreaking way soundwaves are being used to treat tremors

About 10 million Americans live with essential tremor, a neurological condition that causes involuntary shaking. But a new treatment called high-intensity focused ultrasound has the ability to treat tremors without any surgery. NBC’s Joe Fryer reports for TODAY.

I’m SO thankful you posted this!?! They interrupted The Today Show with a VERY NON emergency news report!!! (99% of them are NON emergencies!) SO irritating!?! This was SUCH important information for people who needed it?!?! (My husband and my aunt and my uncle all deal with pretty severe tremors!!!) I shared it for them. I KNOW FOR A FACT that this information is more urgent than the news break that came on!?!?! That totally could have waited to be covered during the regular news time!!! 🤦🏻‍♀️
