I have so much admiration for Rosie. I had the honor of seeing her in person at a AIDS danceathon in the early 80s in NYC. She got on the mic 🎤 and shouted Brooklyn in da house! Being born in Brooklyn, I still use this phrase to this. What an inspiration and a shining example of how you can achieve anything no matter your adversity.

I guess if I’d ever met Rosie in person I would just start crying tears of endless admiration and respect and unconditional love for her as Major Talent and Fantastic Person! She is the example of self respect, of absolute grace, intelligence and she is so beautiful and even touching! I absolutely love Rosie. And thank Hoda for this interview

Oh my Goodness!! Rosie needs to produce....well....& direct an autobiography of her life!! Those snapshots into her childhood with Sister Margaret Francis are priceless...I know it would be an Oscar worthy story if done correctly! Also, nice to hear something positive about someone representing the Catholic church...quite a rarity in these times... I've always Loved Rosie. I read somewhere that she didn't really like her speaking voice & NYC accent but I always Loved it! This was so cool to see her in such a lovely sit down & listen to her talk about her life & life in general

Sister Mary Francis came from a difficult background for sure. She had to figure it out herself. What a blessing to Rosie she was. I wonder if that older nun had anyone help her?

it is so wonderful to hear someone speak so positively about all the wonderful work the catholic nuns and church do in society, unfortunately in the main media we only hear all the negative which we should not ignore and should be dealt with. I grew up with nuns and they were strong, inspirational women, God Bess them all.

I’ve been making space for Hoda all day today while running through several of these, and might I just say……I want my own session wherein I sit with Hoda, cross cross applesauce for about an hour, or twelve. Listening to this series is very empowering, and I’m grateful you began this format.

Rosie honestly recounting her life is beyond motivational. She’s a light, not in spite of her upbringing, but I think beCAUSE of her upbringing. She’s grateful, and that gratitude goes a long way in guiding us. Good for you, girl. Loved you forever.
