This is so cool how nowadays collectors like yourself can modify character toys like Woody and Gabby Gabby to make them look and sound as accurate to the original source material as possible, where toy companies often miss or change certain things. I'm very impressed with this mod, as I'd love for a working pull-string Gabby Gabby doll to be out there, which you've now done. I know you may have done this already so apologies in advance if you have, but could you potentially do a Buzz Lightyear mod with all his original movie phrases, including many of his iconic ones from Toy Story 4? Is that something that could even be done, as he's more of an action figure rather than a traditional pul-string doll like Woody and Gabby Gabby. But it would be so awesome to hear and see if it could!

why not just cut open her back? also the little metal spacer in her neck you can find them at wal-mart

I did that.. I cut into her back to insert the lighter leash and pull string. The rest had to be outside her back so I can protect the wires and also charge her. I don’t know about metal spacers… I’ll have to look into it. Thanks for the info.

Check where the button is if it is not on a line and is instead in a square you got a knockoff

Sounds like you were scrubbing too hard and with a harsh sponge? You have to be careful and use a soft cloth when scrubbing but gently. Also don’t use any harsh cleaners only like water and maybe a little vinegar. I made a video about cleaning Woody here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nXKVon6nZ9N7bbM
