The first time I fished Leech Lake was 1978. Had a tornado form right over the boat while we were out on The Annex. The second time I fished Leech Lake was 2005. It took me that many years before I'd go back out on that lake. I was scared that bad in 78. lol Had my first muskie encounter there in 78. The fish jumped high out of the water trying to grab my lure as I lifted it from the water. This was before I learned about figure 8. The muskie came so far out of the water I was eyeball to eyeball with it and I'm 6'2". I didn't catch the fish but it hooked me. lol Been interested in muskies ever since. Nice cabin and walleye. Can't wait to see more of this video series.

Haven’t clicked on one of your vids quicker!! Love leech, haven’t been there in 10 years but my pb is still there...hard to beat 51 where I live and fish. The stacks in portage bay was our main haunt

Walleyes probably do feel like a sock when you use extra heavy rods 100 pound test... like fighting a sunny on a heavy bass rod. Catch a musky on a shark set up... would feel like a sock!

I know. But you're good at it obviously and it's a little change of pace. Especially since they're very plentiful in that lake and you guys are camping so everything goes hand and hand lol. Regardless I'm loving the content boys! Keep it up!!

My lake is attached to Leech and I was up there that weekend! Wanted to fish in the tournament but my boat isn’t big enough for the Leech Lake rollers lol. Check your Instagram DM from me and let’s fish in that area sometime! Baby Lake is a mini Lake St. Clair! Great video though guys! Always look forward to you guys releasing new videos! Keep up the grind! 🎣
