They look like cisco. I live in the south western part of Alaska on the Kuskokwim River. We have cisco, humpback and broad whitefish. They are a few more others.

Is a tullibee primarily a white fish? Oily? Never ate any that I know of...wonder if they would be good smoked or if better pickled? Thanks for taking us fishing. -20+ below zero. is a mb 650 with a with a 6" inside jaw spread. 6 1/2" outside jaw spread big enough for a beaver if you keep the smaller tullibee and freeze them they would catch big pike on a tip down

I think the flash of the spoon personally mostly because I've used other flat spoons like the Kastmasters and had great success as well

Seems like Minnesotans and Canadians call them tullibee and in here in Wisconsin we call them Cisco. I’m 99% they are the same fish

Yes there is. They are both on the same family but whitefish get larger and have a different shaped mouth
