Savannah is like a lot of people in the US who don’t care about an issue until it affects them personally, because this country has an astounding lack of empathy nationally. I guarantee you when prison reform advocates were sounding the alarm on prison conditions and the squalor they make a lot of criminals live in her and her family were nowhere to be found and probably thought people in these conditions deserved it. Now that it’s happening to her parents she’s begging for change 🙄. She also seems to be under the impression that what her parents did is no big deal or doesn’t deserve to be held accountable at all which the legal system loves. What made me look at adam(watching this from my phone) was when Savannah touched on her mom being transferred and how she is being stripped of basic necessities from the government.. Girl the same government that her parents are guilty of evading taxes from? 30 Million from banking institutions.. It sucks that her parents are going through what the rest of those who have love ones that are incarcerated. Most of prisoners try to comfort their love ones by accepting the conditions because they committed the crime knowing that it was a crime before they did it. Always gotta think worse case scenario. Such as the conditions in the Grady County Jail on the way back to Lexington had swful water to drink, etc. I believe she said it tasted like lake water. As far as the jail Todd is in she wants the facility closed, but she imho needs to get in touch with OSHA or the EPA ....to get the reports. Im sure they would have some government records on file. While I totally understand what Savanah is trying to accomplish, she's pissed off the judge and she stated she would send him to upstate NY where it would be harder for his family to visit.
