Todd English's bluezoo in the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort | Disney Dining Review

It's our 19th Anniversary and we are going on a nice (read: expensive) date to somewhere we've never been! We decided to try the coastal cuisine at the award-winning Todd English's bluezoo, located in the Dolphin (half of Marriott's Swan and Dolphin) in the Epcot Resort Area at Walt Disney World. This is not a Disney restaurant, even though it's on Disney property. So, we are very excited to see how it stands up. Enjoy!

I was happy when you went back home to discuss this restaurant because it was so loud. I can't imagine trying to enjoy a nice dining experience in a mess hall with people moving in furniture. I think you were overly generous with your rating. Especially with the fact that your server came and asked for the lunch box back. What a shame you deserve much better for your anniversary dinner. Happy Anniversary! Well. Glad to hear this because we are staying there in November for the Wine and Dine races. I grew up in Winter Park and have to get a regular Disney fix. So loud in there...it looks pretty. Guess I'm taking it off our list, based on your experience! I don't want a server to hover over me, but I hate it when I am ignored. He should have never asked for the lunchbox back. Glad you enjoyed the food...a little. I agree with previous comment, you were very generous in your rating.

Happy Anniversary! What a let down though. Service issues like that shouldn't happen and yet you both kept smiling throughout. I would really recommend that you try the Four Flamingos at the Grand Cypress. We went there this past May to try something off Disney property and it was worth every penny. One of the best meals I have ever had. Its pricey but again worth it! Thanks for sharing your honest feedback as always!

Absolutely agree about the Four Flamingos! Richard Blais outdid himself with their offerings. Similar pricing to Bluezoo and wonderfully flavorful.

The Swan and Dolphin are actually considered Disney Resorts and you get the park perks (like early admission) when you stay there…

That’s true that you get perks, but they are not Disney Resorts. They are owned and operated by Marriott.

Happy Anniversary!! Sorry you had a less than fantastic anniversary dinner. I've never eaten at bluezoo, but always spend a couple of nights at the Dolphin when we go to Disneyworld. We have eaten at all the other restaurants there and really enjoyed them. Thanks for including a shot f the lobby...makes me want to go back soon. Also, you've got to start saving room for dessert! 😂

Happy 😊 Anniversary! 🥂 Sorry your experience was Not so good here. We've been before and have had a good experience with really great food. That being said there wasn't a convention going on and we don't drink so there was no "lunchbox grab" going on, which is Unacceptable. Time for someone to go on Amazon/E-Bay and buy a few more 80's lunchboxes. 😏 Shula's and IlMulino (also at Swan/Dolphin) are both better experiences, imo.
