Best video I've seen about tree ferns. Thanks a lot!

What an incredibly helpful video...thank you! I recently ordered 2x 60cm Dicksonia Antarctica, due around May. I'm in the Scottish Highlands and thanks to your info and tips, I feel more confident about being able to take care of them! 🙂

@@tztz3621 maybe there are restrictions with the plants that have been grown in another country.

Will you be getting in anew container this year, 2022. And can I place an order in advance? I'm in a mild, almost frost free area on the Kerry coast. These would be ideal for the start of a jungle-style garden. Thanks.

How well would tree ferns do in swamps?

Amazing. Thanks for such a great explanatory video... so useful. One question - if I plant these out (rather than in pots) how do I protect them in the winter?
@toddsbotanics64024 жыл бұрын
It depends where you live. We get away with not protecting them in North Essex. The key is to protect the crown (the top part where the fronds unfurl from) any breathable material, horticultural fleece, straw, hessian etc. Do not use non breathable materials.
