The first and only time I had the privilege of seeing Todd Youth play live was October 1999. He played as the sole guitarist for both Samhain and Danzig (in that order). For any hardcore Danzig fan out there like me who really like the work of John Christ on guitar. Todd absolutely nailed all of John's solos to a tee. I really enjoyed Victor as Danzigs axeman but Todd is on a different level. He fit perfectly in with the Samhain set as well. I was 18 at the time and didn't have any knowledge of the NYHC scene (nor True Hardcore in general) up until 2014 when I became obsessed with Madball, Agnostic Front, Cro-Mags, Integrity, Earth Crisis, Terror, Buried Alive, Slapshot, Sick of it All just to name a few. This man is a legend and I didn't even know as a Danzig fan 23 years ago. RIP to the great one!
