I have one of these. FM is great. AM is pretty good with a passive loop. SW definitely needs an external antenna to pick up much of anything.

That's Japanese katakana script on the box top. Katakana is used to "mimic" foreign (non-Japanese words, usually in English).

Bought a Prunus J-125. Quite good on AM. Great FM reception with small antenna. Did you review this radio? Stay safe and healthy.

My experience with this radio as far as reception goes was not good and regretted spending even the little money that it cost. You are much better spending more on at least the Tecsun PL 310 or RadioWow/Sihuadon R108
