I'm very pleased with my Covmax for $9.99, It has 2-18659 batteries with easy access. The only negative for me is how it powers on in the high lumen mode instead of low lumen first, but for me its an emergency use lantern. Hurricane on the way here in Florida this week, so I am so glad I snagged one. I can purchase about 5 or 6 Covmax lanterns for the same cost as this one. This CL2 would be good for product photography because of the many lighting angles, temperatures, power levels. Also, the CL2 is excellent for hanging, downward lighting. Thanks for another most excellent video, ToddErbert!

Hej Todderbert thanks for the review of this lantern I think it looks very nice, I have to say I like that it was foldable very nice. And to be able to fold it down in different positions if you are fixing something for example fixing the car i also like that it had a built in power bank and a flashlight. I don't own a Lantern but will definitely buy one am a bit interested in the Sofirn BLF LT1 it seems to have a lot of nice features so we'll see which one i gonna buy take care and have a very nice sunday.

You've done it now... you've made me buy my first rechargeable lantern! I'm still waiting for someone to come out with a warm-white lantern powered by LiFePO4 cells. have you ever seen any Lithium Iron Phosphate lights?

You may not, simply because LiFePO4 is going to be heavier/bulkier.
