These EBL batteries are great! I got tired of having to buy a 100 pack of AAA or AA alkaline batteries just to get a good deal. I broke down and bought some of these EBL batteries with a Maximal Power battery charger and couldn't be happier. I thought I might have some trouble with the slightly reduced output voltage versus an alkaline but all of my devices work fine with them. Good product.

Hej I agree with you to have rechargeable batteries is very nice and as you say you save a lot of money and you do not have to worry about nasty leakage take care.

Good review video. But, I have not found any rechargeable batteries that would work in my metal detector. Only disposable Energizer and Duracell are the only 2 batteries that makes a tight connection and works best. Rechargeable batteries are just a hair to short.

will the EBL charger charge 'non-EBL' branded batteries such as Duracel, Energizer, Rayovac, Amazon Basics or other branded batteries? Thanks.

if they are NiMH 1.2V batteries, then it should be fine.

Those D spacers only allow 1 AA per cell... you can buy very sturdy hard plastic D spacers on EBay that allow you to use one, two or three AA batteries per cell...really help if you want to power your Crane EP Pro with rechargeables and get 3 AAs per cell or 12 total .

True, but you have to be sure to use cells that have the same voltage. For those using alkalines, this is important.
