This was great I watched a couple other vides on confidence intervals but none of them truly made me understand why we were doing the functions. Thank you

This video was easier for me to follow than some of the other video. I appreciated how Dr. Grande explained the formulas step-by-step because it made it a lot easier to understand.

This video is especially discriptive and easy to follow, and it's nice to see two methods to arrive at the same result.

Very straightforward and easy to follow along with. Being able to follow the calculations step by step, from the mean, SD, and sample, all the way to the confidence.norm function and z-scores was visually appealing and reasonable to comprehend.

I agree! I think that this video was wasy to follow and understnad. I think that it was color coded in a way that made it easy to visualize as well. Great explantions of the concepts by Dr. Grande

This video was helpful in understanding how to calculate the confidence interval using each of these functions. I was previously unfamiliar with the concept of upper and lower limits, but this video did a nice job in explaining the concepts and functions involved with each method.

I liked that the confidence interval sets up the function for you and you just enter in data. That seems pretty simple. It was also nice to see a refresher of how to calculate the other functions.

This video was easy to follow with step by step instructions, I felt that I was able to confidently grasp and understand how to calculate the 95% confidence interval using both given methods. The color coding also made it easy to visualize and follow along with the different steps and process.

This is the first time I've seen the Standard Error of the Mean calculated, as part of the CONFIDENCE.NORM function. I now know this is important because the SEM takes into account the sample size, Standard Deviation, and the true mean. All in all, always good to have someone run through these stat functions, and then return to use the lesson as a visual aid.

Although it seemed as though there was a lot of steps, it was pretty easy to follow. I liked that each of the calculations had it's own color to follow the methods to calculating the confidence interval.

This was easy to follow but there were a lot of steps, formulas, to get to the 95% confidence interval. I liked the different methods shown; CONFIDENCE.NORM and standard error of mean.

I can see where this information is important and can be helpful in research. This information was a little confusing for me to understand. I liked how there is 2 methods of calculating the confidence interval and that the standard error of mean and z score matching 95% alpha is important since any confidence interval can be figured out. I found this helpful.

I watched the first part of the video trying to recall what the purpose of finding the confidence interval would be. So it's good Dr. Grande explained that we would have 95% confidence of the range the true mean would fall in. Both methods seem to take about the same amount of time and effort so I suppose preference would just depends.

Overall good video. BUT why would you include 'extra' terms and data that you don't need, we don't need and only clouds the whole picture? You even said you didn't need some of this. Just a thought.

The standard error of the mean is the SD of the sampling distribution of the mean and it's always smaller than the SD. Formula is SD/square root of the sample.

This was a simple process to follow but I would find it more helpful to have a key with the formulas wrote out for reference. Since this is not a standard practice for me as a student, I need something that I can refer back to for reference.

This is good since the confidence calculated in Excel descriptive statistics is always wrong (larger than the correct by about 15.42% for unknown reasons). You may verify what I claim using the CONFIDENCE(alpha,std_dev,size) function and by 1.95996398454005 times the standard error when alpha = 0.05 i.e. for 95%.
