So my sin goes Nursery Mon, Wed, Thurs problem I have I could drop nap days he's in nursery (he's in there 12:30-3:30 works for me in hours just naps don't work) now we're not morning people 7am is generally the earliest we naturally wake up. So he gets lunch just before we leave and snacks in nursery. So I only live 20mins walk away and I only recently changed to evenings at nursery now problem I have I get home just before 4pm and by 4:30-5pm he wants a nap but if he naps at this time he won't go sleep till 10-11pm I tried pushing the nap as far back as u could I thought he was out for the night at 19:30 but woke up 21-21:30ish didn't go back to sleep till after 12pm and when he has a nap doesn't matter if we've been out all day I've to wear him out again or he "plays up" as I call it pretty much hyper active pushing every boundary and line possible even ones you didn't know you had. Any suggestions (oh also can't nap before nursery as need to get him ready etc won't nap during as too much h happening and way too excited, curious & hyper to nap so yet pretty screamed atm just not enough hours in the day

At the end of your video you mentioned moving bedtime earlier on the weekends at home. If our 3.5 year old son's bedtime is 7pm and he drops his nap on the weekends (days outside of daycare), do you recommend making it even earlier than 7pm?

It depends on his demanor and his sleepy cues. In some cases if kids are still napping 5 days and only don't nap on weekends, the same bedtime might be fine. But once he drops the nap for GOOD, you may want to move it :15-min earlier even just temporarily to make sure he doesn't get overtired.

@@toddlersleeptraining Thank you! He's definitely phasing out of naptimes and seems to respond well to 6:45p bedtime most nights!
