every time i watch this scene, it's still just as intense and heartbreaking as the first time, roger and kassie are just that good. todd and blair always had really dark and abusive elements to their relationship, so they were never going to ride off into the sunset or anything, and i still feel that this is the most bittersweet and fitting ending they could have gotten. the highest of highs mixed with the lowest of lows--it fits. and the bit where he can't even look at her as he slowly closes the door--ugh sobbing. the only thing i don't like about this ending is that todd never told dani and jack he loved them before he left. todd finally becomes the best version of himself and he still can't bring himself to be fully open with anyone but blair, viki, and starr.

I love roger howarth and think he's a brilliant actor. But when it comes to the wrenching emotional scenes, Kassie DePaiva eclipses Roger with her totally natural, realistic portrayal.

katjamendez I believe the reason she is brilliant in this scene and the emotions and tears is because it is REAL.... Roger is leaving the show and this was their final scene together, like the time in the airport when he left for Ireland. That scene was real also, he was leaving the show for a long time and that was also their last scene together. What a duo!!! 💕

Rh/todd has the most expressive gorgeous eyes it's like they bore through blairs soul! I always noticed those gorgeous hazel eyes but that when that nurse alice hit on him she mentioned how his eyes got to her. Saying they were the saddest eyes she ever saw. Rh just w/ an eyebrow raise conveyed so much. Sadness mysterious up to something. The writing for him when that weirdo micheal malone returned was so bad rh left for 8 years.

@Tigger, I don't think it's clear when Todd received the last note, but I do think it's clear he didn't show this last one to anyone, not even Blair. He doesn't want anyone to follow him lest they be hurt. His last effort to protect his family. I'd love to see the continuation of this story and find out what happens to Todd and who is behind Victor's disappearance, but it doesn't look like we're ever going to.

It was announced months ago by a reputable source (the same source who first reported in 2011 that RH had signed to return as Todd to ABC & no one believed it) that part of the PP/ABC initial agreement was that Roger would continue to film both shows. It has not been formally confirmed by TOLN or RH's management, but this was the BTS agreement. The reporter who announced it has great sources. Again he knew that RH was coming back in 2011 months & months before any other soap blogger did.
