So many people fail to see the point of Mahito's motives and goals. Just wreaking havoc wherever he goes and committing evil acts because they are perceived as good to him. Pair that with a childish mentality and also being a literal child curse, it is nothing but a recipe for disaster.

Yuji hasn’t really killed that many curses though, most of the things he’s killed were transfigured humans, presumably he has killed a bunch off screen but we only see him kill like 5 on screen

I just wanna say first and foremost, Mahito's VA DELIVERED. Now, onto the analysis. I think it's very fitting that Mahito was the first Black Flash of S2 and first BF from a cursed spirit. He is both learning and fully embracing his nature. He is comfortable with who he is. He is a very young curse, so his potential and room to grow are nearly limitless. Considering that even after all this, Mahito still feels like his soul has another form of evolution that he's so close to reaching. He causes pain, fear, hatred, despair. He is a true curse. I've always loved that speech he gave Yuji during the beatdown. He's doing what he was born to do. Yuji being in the fight is why he can't just transfigure Yuji and Todo and instantly win the fight(due to Sukuna being inside Yuji and touching their souls together is too big of a risk). But it's also providing Mahito the room to grow and evolve. Yuji, Todo and Mahito have brought out 120% of their potential. And as Mahito said to Yuji in the end, this will be their final chance to curse each other.

Sukuna doesn't want just cause tragedies or mess with Yuji like Mahito - he wants a good fight with strong rival and I think Mahito is PRETTY strong rival so I think he would fight with him and.................... it would probably ends for Mahito same way it ends for him with Yuji.

There’s a couple more scenes , i’m not hating, just saying you can lower the jokes or chat till after the fightscenes or something.
