For all wondering why the doctor is not wearing gloves, she is not a doctor, and these are her own feet. She has a skin condition that makes the skin on her palms and feet very thick and it needs to be removed or else it is very painful. The thing that looks like a cheese grater is a tool made specifically for using on feet like this. She has been taking care of her feet her entire life so she knows how to do it very well. At least do a little bit of research and look at her page before you start getting mad!!

Do your feet crack and bleed in the winter? I have the milder version of ichthiosis vulgaris and my hands and legs get fine cracks and bleed in cold dry weather.

My feet crack more in summer when they're constantly dry from being in sandals. In the winter they stay pretty moisturized and don't crack or hurt as much. My hands thankfully I keep really thin so they never crack. I'm sorry you struggle with that :(

Мне прдолог обработала ноги керотолитингом, обращалась с вросшим ногтем, получила полный сервиз, так вот теперь у меня вся подошва железная стала, чистить часто надо, крема не помогают. Получила химический ожег получается, теперь с кератозом борюсь и уже к подологам не пойду.

My feet used to look a lot like this until I got it biopsies and they found out it was bacterial in nature. Had to apply clindamycin gel, mupricin ointment and fucidic acid twice a day, for four months and it finally got resolved. Had to constantly sterilize my cutter with alcohol and UV Light every week to get the thick layers off for the medicine to penetrate to the source of the problem. It was tough…no more splintering calluses or stinky feet. That was my case…is your bacterial or genetic?

It’s a genetic mutation. She’s said that many many times. Also, that’s keratin, not a fungus or callus.

I have a milder version but whenever I shave it down or rasp it then the soft skin underneath is so tender and painful to walk on then the callous quickly grows back. Do you experience tenderness and how do you cope with that? Btw that looks like a wire cutter lol!

Definitely possible to shave too low... I have had issues with over-sensitivity in the past. I think it comes down to my experience and not going too deep on purpose. Sometimes they can feel a little sensitive the day after shaving but it goes away that same day.

Hello. Do you know the tools that spin very fast that are used for doing/removing gel nails? I'd use them in between the fingers for a smooth finish. (I actually use them.)

Do you worry what will happen with your hands and feet when you can’t bend over to trim them anymore and because the American health system doesn’t see trimming feet as life threatening so insurance won’t cover it?

Так она сама себе их и обрабатывает. Установила телефон в держатель и стригëт ноги у себя в ванной. Потом выкладывает на свой канал. Вопрос только один: сколько нужно ни чего не делать, чтобы довести собственные ноги до такого состояния?

@vasya_pupkin504 Есть типы кератодермии, при которых подобный кератоз нарастает за неделю-полторы. Проблема в том, что способ обработки выбран не слишком эффективный. Гораздо проще и быстрее будет нанести кератолитик, после размягчения кожи снять лишний кератоз скальпелем, а потом уже доработать колпачками. Конусообразные колпачки очень удобны для обработки трещин, кусачками это делается гораздо медленнее

You mean her skin?😂 Her hands are the same way. It’s called keratoderma. It’s excessive callous buildup that people are born with. It’s not a virus, fungus, or bacteria. Just dead skin.

it's not for cheese, it's a blade made specifically for removing thick callus on the feet, which is what she is doing.

This is strange to see a young woman with feet like this? Why not soak in a tub more often so it doesnt get that way, and you have to wear socks to bed or your sheets will get nasty too.
