This video was not filmed for a music video. This was girls' private trip, they filmed just to enjoy in themselves .And then the video was edited as a music video. (The girls are not related to toe. They are related to the MV director.) The reason why the girl cried at the end is not explained even in Japanese. The girl said "うまく伝えられなくて(umaku tsutaerarenakute)". This means"I can't communicate well"or "I can't tell what I want to say". Maybe, she talked about her boyfriend. It seems that she lost his love already. I think she was consoled by her friends after she tells about it. Sorry for my poor English. I hope it helps you to understand the last seen.

I had a similar experience to what was shown in the video. After the last exam of our last year in university, I went out with a group of friends who were closest to me during our period of study. We had a lot of fun just going around, sightseeing and doing things that we couldn't do a lot of before because we were busy. On the last night of the trip, we had a talk session where we expressed our gratitude for each other, and I wasn't able to properly say what I want to. I wanted to tell them that I felt thankful of their friendship and not making me feel alone all those years. I didn't know why, but I was only able to say "I will miss you all" and started to cry, which also made most of my friends cry. At the end, I apologized for that sudden outburst and said the exact same thing the girl at the end of this video said: "I can't tell what I really wanted to say", but my friends said they understood me nonetheless. It has been years, but that last night always stick with me. I feel slight regret for not being able to tell them 'thank you', but at the same time, I am glad they knew what I meant to say.

Every time I watch this video I feel a lot of things ranging from joy to loneliness. I feel sad and lonely because I’ve never had friends like this and want to but I feel joy seeing other people experience the things I hope to someday experience. Toe are so extremely brilliant and also such an unbelievably emotive band.

i would be careful about mistaking this video for reality. to me, it looks like they are more concerned about generating cool selfies than connecting with each other or having a good time. it gives the classic social media image of everyone having a great time when in reality its all about creating a cool instagram and youtube videos.

Open letter to toe, I find it simply hard not coming back to this. Your music stayed the same through the years yet, I always find myself renewed. You have profoundly done this right - The portrayal of happiness, lifestyle, and the guise of belongingness. No one knows who you are but you. This is not because of the perceived notion that we're wired in such a way but is found in communication and the lackness thereof. Thank you for acknowledging the struggles I have failed to notice. You have saved my life.

this gives me that 'afterparty' vibe when you don't want to come back to your home after a great day because then you know that the day will suddenly end so you try to extend the good time by delaying your homecoming as much as you can because you don't want to go back to normal life routine and sometimes it is heartbreaking

The thing that's so remarkably sad about this, is that at some point - whether days, weeks, months, years, or even decades forward: These group of friends will eventually split up and go their own ways. There may be two of them that stick together after everything's said and done - but "the crew" will never be whole again. This is true for almost every walk in life. Whether it's a group of classmates who think they'll stick together forever - a group of gamer friends who always agree to play on a weekend - a group of office workers talking by the water cooler - a group of veterans sharing beers on a porch... This shared road will eventually split off. These memories will change in its seasons. My mom and aunt were blessed enough to still be friends with one of their OG gal-pals, even now in their old age. And our life was so much more adventurous because of it - each of our families going on crazy road trips together, checking out almost every new shop and restaurant within a 100 mile radius, running around amusement parks until our feets were sore. It was fun. It was exciting. But... it's also a bittersweet memory. Our families split off and went our own ways, making new friends in new places, and vanishing into our own lives. My mom and aunt and their friend are still good friends, and still call one another. But I do often wonder... How much more bittersweet is it for them? Not only for our family adventures being nothing more than a memory now... but who else was part of "their crew" that they never talk to anymore? Because of that old life, I actually grew into an introvert, believe it or not. Because none of the relationships I made with strangers were quite as meaningful as the ones I had with my family. It was often disappointing, hollow, and frustrating... so I just moved myself away from people in general. It's not to say I'm lonely. Not only did I accomplish my best works when I was by myself, but I'm happily married now. Being an introvert doesn't take you off the market - it just makes you look for a different marketplace. I pray to one day have a large family to take on grand adventures, silly sightings, and insane happenstances. And though the idea of them splitting off and going on their own ways is a sad one, I also think it's a manufactured one. We only split off now because of our current lifestyles, of how we view a healthy-way of living. And yet, you can learn a lot from people living in older (practically ancient) ways of life... their families never split off, never separated, never lived far apart from one another, not because they secluded themselves from society: but because they lived simpler and had a genuine care for one another (rather than our give-and-take lifestyle). Maybe, just maybe, aiming for that lifestyle means the journeys never have to end.

*toe - レイテストナンバー / The Latest Number* lyrics The plating covers the night that faces us on the third Ambiguously crafty Live or die Frenzy of lies Resent life Rich in unknown topics of others Freezing, hard to see, no maze. The Meaning of Negative Polarization Critical? It doesn't fill up. Rumble. More rattles. More rattles. I repeat, the future is the request. The key. The idol. How's that for a picture that won't be destroyed? Our latest number. I cried softly in frustrated speculation Our latest number. Sad memories, a righteous future. Love has no other end. Not full of phases Smile Blue Love is another way of saying I'm out of breath. We saw a rainbow Our Raitest, the latest number. I cried softly in frustration Your Raitest. Your latest number. Sadness is the new future. The future? It's open. (projection, projection, projection, projection) Our Ray Test (projection, projection, projection, projection) Latest Number (projection through, projection through, projection through) I have a sad memory (projection through, projection through, projection through) A new future? From the start I could see that one of the girls had a harder time fitting in and it seemed like she was overthinking things from her body language, and then that ending... The whole time watching, I felt a happy atmosphere, but also felt anxious because I tend to overthink how I act in situations like these and so it felt personal almost. Maybe I'm overthinking, maybe I'm projecting, who knows. "I couldn't express well what I wanted to say."
