@@Plemp. It's a live performance, not everything is up to par sometimes in these scenarios. It's also important to remember that this band's main shtick is instrumentals, very few of their songs have actual vocals. As far as the song Goodbye itself goes though... Yeah, the vocals are intentionally monotone.

This is simply a matter of preference, I just think this song just wouldn't be the same without the lyrics. Also, the band constantly hits wrong notes lol, that's not excusive to the vocals

I really respect these guys for not going too hard on the solos and stuff. we all know they could play some amazingly impressive stuff but music over technique! Not that this means, that technically demanding stuff is necessarly non musical, i just respect their decision to never feel the need to impress other people with their technique. Being a guitarist myself i know that we tend to want to do that, but these guys are all about the music.
