Although the language use was easy and understandable, but the topic was very challenging. I haven’t heard these terms in my whole life. TOEFL is supposed to evaluate peoples’ English proficiency not science and knowledge. The last question for a second language learner in impossible to fully answer 😢

You don't need to understand those scientific words in order to explain the lecture. You can figure out based on the context what the main points are.

I did make it more difficult intentionally. I thought about changing it, making it easier, but I thought that you guys could benefit from experiencing it at this level.

Are these questions generated by ChatGPT or something? Question 3 and 4 in particular seem to be very meandering and not to the quality of other TOEFL practice questions I've seen. They seem off.
