Never played the game, but I can already imagine myself pulling my hair out when those transparent enemies come after me.

Cool video, played this when I was a kid and almost forgot it existed. It was a fun co-op game but really held back by how luck based it sometimes felt. It can really push you in some near unwittable situations sometimes. But despite that the game and certainly memorable

My mates and I used to play this when we stayed up all night getting mashed or after clubbing, we considered this an awesome 'chill out' game.

Oddly enough the sequel was a side scroller. Then a decade later the Xbox got a third chapter (originally planned for Dreamcast). It all comes full circle when you realize the green box was essentially a DC2. History is fun! ☝️

If you can, do a video on Desert Strike, Jungle Strike, Urban Strike. All them as Sega Genesis games. Along with Soviet Strike, and Nuclear Strike, and also Future Cop LAPD. All of them as Playstation games.

After trying to get all rocket ship parts I eventually gave up. It is a good game to play with a friend and as a party game when everyone is decently drunk. But in single player I never get far enough to believe I ever gonna finish it. The best I could do before I ran out of lives was eight parts. Many times the game throws so many enemies at me like three moles, bees and a boogie man, it is not funny. The moles keep shaking the gifts out of my stash and the bees and boogie man finish me off. Or those darn lawn mower dudes that can mow away an entire life in a single attempt. As much as I like the concept, the enemy encounters can be the deal braker every time. Either the enemies outrun you as there are too many todeal with or you don't have anything in your stash to fight back. How many people ever finished this game at least once?
