TONYFL-Tremor Slugs-Field Review

This is my 1st outing with the TONYFL line of Air gun slugs (TREMOR SLUGS). Tony is new to the game of slug making for airguns and I must say, "he has hit it out of the park" with these. I even love his Tins. They have screw on lids and the labels are on the inside of the lids so they are protected.
I test them on paper for accuracy, I even tested them on reactive targets for penetration and expansion. I then take them deeper into the field and test them on pest to test their lethality! Every aspect of them passed my testing. Lastly, if my Uragan 30 likes them, THEY ARE KEEPERS!

yep! it shows that even a fresh fill is part of a tune. Even after the 1st shot, the gun in this video no longer has EXACTLY 4000 psi in it. Its just a little lower. The entire system is a pressure vessel and the pressure lowers after each shot even though the reg is still making half the gun 1 consistent pressure which is lower than the front half of the rifle😉

Airguns have not reached their peak or is close yet. AEA just proved it. They are releasing airguns that can take a 7000 fill input but regulates UP TO 4500 PSI output. Currently, we don't even have regs that can reg up to a full 3000 psi. This changes everything and BOOST airguns into the dimension they were heading anyways. Always just takes one brave soul and then, EVERYONE ELSE WILL COPY and follow! Thanx Bluewater454

@@Tofazfou Yeah wont be long until pretty much any serious PCP has actual rifle barrels and bullets (rather than pellets/slugs), then someone does something stupid and govt regulation follows immediately.

@@Tofazfou Yes, at this point the industry will be looking to simply increase the power in these rifles. I guess there are people who want to these things to be equal in every way to firearms, but I don’t really see the point. We can already hunt anything there is to hunt with the current PCPs. I’m seeing guys hit balloons consistently at 500 yards with the higher end PCPs and the new ammo. Do we really need them to hit golf balls at a thousand? I guess some guys would say “hell yah”. And then the federal regulations will come flooding in.

@@ToreDL87 Dude! I've been doing that for years. I STARTED THE TREND. I use firearms barrels and barrel liners. Im the reason the word LINER is so popular today. My last video posted on the .338 Airpua shooting long range uses a REAL GUN BARREL and I CAST REAL LEAD BULLETS! The law doesn't care about stuff like that. That is nowhere or no how illegal. Lots of my air guns have REAL GUN barrels on them. We are also at the point where we are having SOLID COPPER Bullets made along with special barrels to shoot them. But, you are correct that if someone does something stupid like MURDER with an air gun then YES, it brings attention to us then the law will react swiftly. To me, as long as we keep compressed air ONLY as our propellent, and don't commit crimes with air guns, we are ok. One thing about it, with compressed air, we are still very limited on power when compared to firearms.

I recently purchased a U2 .30 cal. Love love love this rifle! I would be more inclined to try this ammo if it fit in the magazine. Don’t wanna be in the field fiddling with single loading. Gonna try the NSA 49.5’s and your JSB KO’s. My U2 is shooting the JSB 50.15 pellets at 926 out of the box so hopefully won’t have to tune. Thanks for another great video and great shooting.

Well, he sells other weights (lighter) of .30 cal so, something should fit! But going back to your point, you can't go wrong with NSA or JSB either. My Uragan was shooting the JSB 50.15 great out of the box till I retuned it for more power to shoot slugs. I honestly need to revisit the 50.15 domes. Nice shooting. Love the knowledge you share thank you. Remember when a well known airgun shooter and content creator stated that .25 cal has the best all around ballistics when shooting pellets about 3-4 years ago. 34 grain MK2s were all the rage for accuracy? What ever happened to that? It seems that .30 cal is what everyone shoots now. I guess things change.😂The FX 34s are the only thing I found that my LCS shoots well. That LWMGPB or its twist rate doesn’t like slugs at any speed so far test in my experience. They all seem not wide/big enough. Instead of .250 they need to be maybe .253-5 ish🤷🏼‍♂️ Do you have any thoughts on this sir? Stay blessed.

Thats the Impulse Air IA-1350! That lil thing takes all the bark out of that 92 FPE air gun. You can order it with diff color endcaps and even baffle chambers. Like what I have in the video!

He's on point with the "their shit just works" I still have my first gen Arken EP from when they first opened and it's still sitting on top the HM1000X LRT 25 that I put it on when I first got it. I now own 7 of their scopes, 5 on pcp guns and 2 on powder burners (I have my fair share of very high end scopes on powder burners) I can say that shooting 2/3 torso plates out at 1000-1200 yards with the gunwerks custom 7mm saum and a gunwerks custom 300win mag the scope isn't a limiting factor. They track beautifully, they have very very good optical quality considering the they are 450 dollar scopes (both EP5s)... fantasticly done reticles and I could keep on about how good they are.. the tracking alone is unbelievable good for a freaking 450 dollar scope. Absolutely impressive optics for the money!!!

@@EDCandLace 100%! I also have the original EP4 on my .338 Airgun. I have the new EP5 on my new 7mm PRC. How do you like the SAUM? Was going to get that cartridge but, it died and then once i bought the parts for my PRC, the SAUM revived all of a sudden. Same thing happened when I wanted to by a 224 Valkarye. All the hype then, NOTHING! Bought a 223 then it seemed like the Valkyrie gained steam again. But now its still dead.....lol!
