Thelwell is doing a nice job of balancing the fiscal constraints and providing Dyche with the type of players he needs to be successful. Right now, successful means getting into the new stadium, staying up, and navigating the FFP stuff and getting past it.

In terms of setting up for the future he’s made some good signings. There’s potential for return on investments which is something we didn’t consider much with past transfers. Although I’d rather branthwaite didn’t go, he probably will.

The team spirit for the 1st time in years looks like the players are what all us Blues absolutely demand is 100% commitment for the badge and a real team spirit and togetherness as in backing each player up by doubling up or if a player makes a mistake every player helps out thr player who has made the mistake rather than crticising each other on the pitch in the game being plzyed..!! So bravo Thelwell and Dyche for what they've done working together..!!

Not seen the interview yet. But would like to hear about how he and Sean Dyche work together to bring in players. Dyche strikes me as more old school. I think it would be interesting to hear about their working relationship.

Kevin Thelwell deserves a medal for the whealings and dealings in the transfer market with absolutely no money but balacing the books and bringing better quality younger players than all the previous DOF that we've had since Moshri brought in DOF's..!! Say Beto 30million but not paying a penny for a year and l think Dyche and Thelwell complement each other brillantly with being pragmatic in a club with no money..!! there is a huge difference and we are starting to see results on the field, every player has improved under dyche just look at palace not the best game but we came away with the points and we would ov lost that game normally being put under pressure but im enjoying my weekends so much more with the win

He definitely wants to build something but that something is limited by the financial situation we're in. I'm sure he wants to build something better than what he's currently building which might end up being amazing but chances are it's gonna be just decent. There is no high ceiling to what he's trying to do but lets hope he breaks through that ceiling.

I think things like this are great when it's going well but the club should be carefull about doing them too often and watering them down. Dyche loves a casual interview and is willing to do them and have a bit of a laugh but we all saw how that went last year when things were going bad on the pitch.

Does Elon Musk not want to own a football club... i check every day hoping the 777 takeover has collapsed. Dyche and Thelwell are steadying the ship which is what we need and as long as we stay up and move into the new stadium as a premier league club then thats all that matters and then build from there with the increased revenues from it. Just hoping we arent hit by FFP and we dont lose key players to injuries as we only really have 16 players in my opinion before we become really weak.
